Apartment Afrodite is part of a residence made up of two Country Houses that have been divided into five apartments with shared garden and swimming pool. They also have a private terrace, central heating and air conditioning.
Located in the historical part of the old village of Nerano, the long history of the two buildings that have been combined together is testified by the antique grey stonewall, carefully restored by the builders. The side of the residence garden borders the wall that encloses the garden of The Church of San Salvatore. There is also an antique tower. Both buildings go back to the 1400s. From the garden you can admire the old bell tower and the pergola made up of grapes in the church’s vegetable garden.
Afrodite apartment is 50 square metres and it is suitable for three people. It is bright and airy and has a terrace that overlooks the swimming pool and has a sea view. Guests in this apartment have access to the garden and the swimming pool, which is shared by the guests of the other apartments that make up the residence. The apartment has a big double bedroom, a sitting room with a single bed settee and a bathroom with Jacuzzi. The rooms have quite high coombed ceilings. There is access to a spacious terrace from the bedroom where there are views of the historical centre of Nerano and the mountainous part of the coast. The sitting room has access to another spacious terrace that has a sea view and overlooks the garden and swimming pool. The apartment is full of light throughout the day. The terrace is in front of the sitting room and is shaded by an awning. It is furnished with garden furniture. It is very pleasant to relax or dine “al fresco” having the blue sky and sea in front of your eyes. The sitting room has a kitchen area equipped with a cooker, an oven and a fridge/freezer. The apartment is furnished with elegant and modern furniture. To reach the apartment you need to climb a short stair of fifteen steps.
There is free parking and a bus stop a few meters away for the bus to Sorrento. Shared laundry facilities, Bbq.
You can enjoy splendid panoramas of the sea and the Amalfi Coast from both the garden and the terraces. The place is airy and full of light and sunshine. The swimming pool measures 11 x 4 meters. The lawn is about 300 square meters. The garden is in front of the building and is enclosed by a long stonewall as would be a large terrace. When you look over this wall, you see only sky, sea and the charming shape of the Bay of Nerano. A large olive tree with its green foliage stands out against the blue sky and is the only reminder to the fact that before to become a delightful holiday apartment building, this was an antique olive press where the olives were brought from the surrounding farmland to produce olive oil.
The fascinating beach of Marina del Cantone, can be reached with a free shuttle service, you will find a platform equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. The platform is shared among the guests of the residence. At the beach you will also be able to take boat trips and practice water ski.
The other four apartments that comprise the residence are - Atena - Poseidone - Vulcano - Zeus.

The village of Nerano dominates the bay of the same name. Nerano is noted for its healthy and fresh summer air and also for its famous and excellent restaurants. Here you can taste the traditional Italian cuisine enhanced by the use of genuine, local products such as oil, cheese, vegetables and wine. From Nerano you can visit the protected nature park of The Bay of Ieranto, which is situated in front of the Faraglioni of Capri. Ieranto is a place of unspoilt beauty where, according to a legend, mermaids live. There is a famous path for those who enjoy trekking, from Nerano to The Bay of Ieranto, which allows you to enjoy breathtaking panoramas. The Coast is spectacular even from underwater and for those who love deep sea diving there are well-equipped centres in the area. It is easy to reach both the Coasts of Sorrento and Amalfi from Nerano. There are ferries from Sorrento to Capri, Naples and for all the other tourist towns on the Coast. You can also catch buses and trains to Pompei and the archaeological sites of Ercolano or Paestum.
Marina del Cantone overlooks the Gulf of Salerno between the Bay of Jeranto and Recommone. Its wonderful cobblestone beach is surrounded by famous and well-equipped restaurants, bars, hotels and resorts. Unmissable boat tours are available on booking from the beach to the most popular coves of the coast, as well as the Grotta Azzurra (the blue grotto on the isle of Capri).
Marina del Cantone is reachable by bus (Sita) from Sant'Agata sui due Golfi or by car with a nice parking area a hair's breadth away from the beach. Walking for about 10 minutes through a wonderful panoramic pedestrian path, you would reach Recommone. At one point of the path, there's a coast guard tower dated back to XV century, which has been built to defend and protect the local population from barbarian pirate's incursions which often occurred all along the coast.
The coasts of Cantone, famous to be a good repair for Greek and Roman sailors, as well as corsairs, have helped along plenty of brave tales and famous myths: the most popular one is about the Sirens myth that, according to the legend, have been turned into the three little islands of Archipelago Li Galli. During Summer a service of transport by boat is active that serves Marina del Cantone with the Bay of Ieranto. The service, costs 10 € round-trip person, permits to arrive directly on the beach, approximately in about 15 minutes. Don’t miss the famous and delicious “Spaghetti of Nerano” (with the zucchini-courgettes), made according to an ancient recipe that is handed on from generations.
Check-in procedure
Check-in time is between 3 and 8 p.m. You will be taken to the booked accommodation and will be asked for a photo copy of your Id or passport, any extras and the Breakage deposit (in cash only) Euro 300,00 – this is refunded on your departure day, less any breakages.
We strongly recommend contacting our land agents the day before or early morning of your arrival day, to let them know how you intend getting to the resort and approximate arrival time, they will in this occasion be able to advise of any local festas, roads closed etc...

There are several ways to get to Marina del Cantone from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples / Train station either by renting a car or by public transport.
Sorrento Coast Transport.
It is also possible to arrange private transfers from airport / train station to Nerano / property.

From the property, it is possible to get around fine with public Busses which operate year-around connecting to Sorrento centre as well to the Amalfi Coast villages.
Ferries from Sorrento to Amalfi – Positano operate a service from May to October, while to Capri Island and Naples, operate all year around.
Parking in the towns like Sorrento / Positano / Amalfi is hard to come by and expensive.
