Capri is an island in the Bay of Naples, southern Italy, easy reached by Boat from Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento.
The island has always been admired for its natural beauty infact it has been a holiday resort since the time of the Roman Republic.

What to do on Capri Island

From the main harbour (Marina Grande) with the Funiculare, bus or taxi one can reach in a few minutes the main town centre of Capri - the famous Piazzetta surrounded by caffès bars, restaurants and shops.
Further up the hills to the west there is a separate comune of Anacapri.
There are many path walks taking you to incredible locations like Arco Naturale, Monte Solaro, Faraglioni, Towers and Forts (Sentiero dei Fortini), Imperial Roman Villas or just to little bays along the coast for a refreshing swim in the Mediterranean sea.
Famous attractions of the island are also the caves: Grotta azzurra (Blue Grotto) Grotta Bianca (White Grotto), Grotta Verde (Green Grotto). Small boats depart frequently from Marina Grande to these sites

How to reach Capri Island

From Sorrento there are regular Ferries departing from Marina Piccola (main harbour of Sorrento), all year around.
The ferry takes about 40 minutes while the hydrofoil takes about 20 minutes. Return ticket is about € 30,00 Adult - € 18,00 Children (5-12 years)
